Maria combined the angled edges of the long sword shape with inspiration from the sleek profile of her most loved stiletto to create an updated 3-D spike. Two shorter spikes flank a central one, each with different relative proportions for a perfectly engineered balance, and all are seamlessly recessed into a triangular shaped ring. The thoughtful proportion of the planes allows for beautiful light reflection from all sides.
