Mike and Alex
"Mike and I decided to look for my wedding band at James Free Jewelers because I wanted something unique to accompany my antique engagement ring. I am not particularly fond of wraps or enhancements with antique rings, so I was curious to see what options I could find at James Free. Sarah helped as soon as we walked into the store for their annual bridal sale and she knew exactly what type of style I had in mind within a few minutes of speaking with her. She brought a few different styles of diamond bands for me to try on, which were all beautiful, but it was the sapphire band that she brought over that really stood out to us; it complemented my engagement ring so well and it was so different from any pairing I had seen before! Needless to say, I fell in love with that band and probably would not have found it without Sarah's help."

"From the very first step through James Free Jewelers' welcoming front door, my every need was not only taken care of, but exceeded my expectations. At James Free Jewelers, I was made to feel like family. Their staff is warm, kind and attentive. I truly felt that they wanted me to have the best experience possible. It wasn't about "making a sale" to them, it was about finding the absolute perfect ring for me and my fiance. The service and selection at James Free Jewelers is un-rivaled. There is no better place than my friends, and now family, at James Free."

"James Free states that they aim to be a personal jeweler. It’s true. From the moment my, at the time, future husband walked through the door to inquire about engagement rings to the custom designed necklace we purchased in celebration of our first baby, they’ve provided exceptional service. I was impressed with the turnaround time on the custom necklace and options available during the design process. The people are invested in you as a customer. They’ll take the time to get to know you and your style. They’re awesome!"
Senia and James
"We had an excellent experience with James Free Jewelers. We got Senia's engagement ring and both of our wedding rings there and love them. We also get a lot of compliments from family and friends. The staff is friendly and courteous, especially the associates who worked with us personally, Randy and Sarah. Both Randy and Sarah were always happy to help us and met with us several times before we selected each ring. They were very patient and informative and we really enjoyed working with them. Because of the quality of jewelry and service offered by James Free Jewelers, we plan on using them as our family's jeweler in the future."
Robb and Ron
"When Ron and I made the decision to have our wedding rings custom designed, we didn't hesitate to call Jim at James Free Jewelers. In fact, our go-to sales associate, Paul, let us know that James Free was ready to go to work for us when we were ready to make the decision. Both Jim and Paul supported us from the initial consultation to the final design. Jim listened carefully as we shared with him our 25 year history together, and he was able to incorporate both personal details and symbols of our relationship into the design. When the rings were finished, Jim and Paul unveiled them to us over a glass of wine. I'm not sure who was more excited: Ron and I, or the entire staff who came in for a peak to help us celebrate."
Libby and Brian
"We decided to get married in Charleston because our parents live there," says Libby. "And it is our favorite place to visit." While planning an out-of-town wedding has its challenges, selecting the perfect ring was not. "Brian and I went to James Free Jewelers and met with Michelle, who was incredibly helpful," says Libby. "Since neither of us knew a thing about diamonds, she walked us through the whole process, and then guided Brian in designing my dream ring." Brian went traditional with his proposal and was on one knee surrounded by rose petals and candles in their home. There were also several poster boards in the room, with one featuring Libby’s nephew asking if she would marry Brian, so that he could be his uncle."
