Roberto Coin–in person–is coming to visit us in Dayton

We thought we’d return to the blogoshpere in a big way by announcing a RARE personal appearance by renowned jewelry designer Mr. Roberto Coin. Are we excited? You bet!  Plan to join us Monday,  December 6 from 4-8 p.m. at our Kettering, Ohio store. The event will be Mr. Coin’s only public appearance during his current visit to the United States.

One of the fashion world’s most highly acclaimed personalities, Italian jewelry designer Roberto Coin, will discuss his work and introduce many new and unique, hand-crafted pieces  during his Dec. 6 appearance.  The event is free and open to all.

According to Michael Karaman, president of James Free Jewelers, “Roberto Coin is like the Picasso of the jewelry world. There’s no one quite like him. Every piece he creates is more stunning than the one before it.”

Roberto Coin is recognized for his many innovations in the field of jewelry design, including: The use of three-color and two-color gold and the patented Cento 100 Facet Diamond, one of the most brilliantly cut diamonds available to consumers.

We think one of the coolest features of Roberto Coin’s jewelry is the distinctive, brilliant ruby incorporated into each and every piece, to touch the wearer’s skin for luck and love, according to tradition.

Many of the pieces to be featured during Mr. Coin’s appearance at James Free Jewelers are one-of-a-kind. Among the newest designs now available are:

Art Noveau—A delicate floral design in 18K rose gold set with pink tourmalines and diamonds, reminiscent of designs from the turn of the century.

Martelatto—A collection of hammered-finish bangle bracelets, necklaces, earrings and rings in a variety of metal and precious stone combinations.

Mauresque—Necklaces and matching earrings inspired by the textures, architecture and passions of Morocco.  The bezel set diamonds in this design add a bit of refined sparkle, without overpowering the wonderful ethnic influence.
