James Free Jewelers Since 1940

James Free Jewelers’ story is one of caring and personal customer service. A story of serving generations of families and knowing them by name. A story of welcoming new brides, celebrating anniversaries, and reveling milestone events with them. A story that we invite all customers to share. 

James Free Jewelers is an independent jeweler founded in 1940 by James Free and purchased by then employee Michael S. Karaman. His vision relocated the company to the suburban area of Kettering, Ohio to match the migration of the local population, which had become more suburban. As the business gained more notoriety, the James Free family of customers grew.
